Dion Lefler reports, at the Kansas City Star, that the Freedom [to kill babies] Riders have made a stop in Wichita KS to protest against both Operation Rescue and A Better Choice pregnancy resource center. Mr. Lefler reports that the baby-killing riders:
carried signs with slogans such as “Fake Clinic,” and “Stop Forced Motherhood,” and festooned the front of the building with faux crime-scene tape reading “Danger, Crimes Against Women.”
Because, if you’re helping women avoid the horror of murdering their babies and helping them with their obligation to care for their babies then you’re committing “crimes against women.” And if you oppose violent lethal force against innocent unborn babies, somehow you’re forcing motherhood on women.
Mr. Lefler quotes Tracy Stern, the chief spokeswoman for these abortion enthusiasts, that “forced motherhood is female enslavement”. You gotta wonder what this has to do with A Better Choice or Operation Rescue. If you offer hope instead of death, you’re forcing motherhood on women. The main problem with Ms. Stern’s mindless statement is that, if you’re pregnant, your motherhood has already begun. Why should someone be allowed to kill her own child to escape her motherhood?
