Here’s the moral equation: Because some parents will murder their babies after birth, Namibia should make it easier for those parents to murder their babies before birth. For some mysterious unstated reason, it’s better to murder the baby earlier.
“The special rapporteur calls on the government to address the fact that when women are forced to undertake illegal interventions, they face an increased risk of maternal mortality,” it reads.
Who or what is forcing women to murder their babies through “illegal interventions”? Once again, the article doesn’t say. Perhaps, we should arrest those people who are forcing women into killing their babies and endangering their lives. If there’s anything we should all agree on, forcing women to murder their babies should be severely punished.
But no, the report author, Magdalena Sepúlveda Carmona, doesn’t need to find out who is forcing women to kill their babies because maybe she already knows. It’s the baby who is forcing the women. The baby’s existence has forced her mother to head for the nearest knife-wielding abortionist. The baby is at fault. She forces her mother to kill her.
You might wonder how the baby forces her mother to do anything. That’s a little unclear for me too. So, maybe instead Ms. Carmona sees women as mindless automatons forced by a baby-killing chromosome into killing their babies. Apparently, actually living up to their parental responsibility to care for their child isn’t an option. No, they’re “forced” into murdering their babies.
Pro-aborts, such as Ms. Carmona, simply can’t see how misogynist they are.
