Eli Stokols reports at Fox 31 Denver that “We Can Do Better [by killing unborn children], Colorado” has produced a propaganda attack ad against two Republican candidates for supporting personhood, the right to life of all human beings from the beginning of life.
The ad sticks to the standard script of lies and distortions that pro-aborts commonly use to attack personhood. The ad claims that Personhood:
“Bans common forms of birth control”
The ad should say that Personhood would only ban abortion-causing birth control. Without mentioning the criteria for determining which birth control methods could be affected, the pro-abortion claim is nothing but a propaganda scare tactic.
“Interferes with our personal decisions”
Personhood only protects innocent humans from getting killed. Killing another human being is never a “personal decision” except for the one on the receiving end of the knife. The baby’s death is quite personal to her. But the pro-aborts don’t care about the baby except to hope that her body doesn’t clog the garbage disposal.
“Casts our healthcare choices as immoral”
To suggest that abortion is healthcare is to say that pregnancy is a disease or other unhealthy condition. Since women are designed for pregnancy, this insinuates that women are defective. Such misogyny is common in pro-abortion rhetoric. The fact is that abortion isn’t healthcare but the killing of an innocent baby.
“Police to investigate miscarriages and question the grieving woman like a criminal.”
This is worst lie of them all. Pro-aborts hide behind the tragedy of miscarriage to push their baby-killing agenda. It’s despicable. See http://www.personhoodusa.com/blog/personhood-would-criminalize-miscarriages-wrong.
I’m sure the pro-aborts will continue to spew their lies. They’re good at it. Keep this “Countering pro-abortion lies about Personhood” close at hand.
