Allison Kilkenny, at The Nation, reports that a pro-abortion group is organizing a “Freedom Ride” to states with only one operating abortuary. Because, of course, nothing says freedom like killing unborn babies.
Pro-aborts have such a distorted view of the world that they honestly see it this way. The lead “freedom” baby-killer, Sunsara Taylor, said:
The fight over abortion has never been about babies, it has always been about the attempt to control women and enslave women to their reproduction.
She sees women’s reproductive capacity as enslaving. This is obvious misogyny. Because women have a natural capacity for pregnancy, women are therefore enslaved by realizing their natural capacity as women. Men don't have this enslaving defect; only women.
As you can see from the quote above, Ms. Taylor projects her anti-woman view onto pro-lifers. She just assumes that pro-lifers have the same demeaning view of women that she has. But pro-lifers don’t view pregnancy as enslaving but a natural part of parenting. A pregnant mother and the baby's father are parents who have an obligation to care for their weak and vulnerable child, before and after birth.
