Pelosi: Aborting 20+ week old unborn babies is "sacred ground"

The House Judiciary committee, in a party-line vote, approved a bill to federally ban abortions after the baby reaches 20 weeks gestation. The Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack posts video of him confronting House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on her opposition to the bill and her support for murdering older unborn babies:

Madam Leader, you mentioned the bill that passed out of the House Judiciary committee, Members who have proposed that bill have done that in light of the wake of this murder trial in Philadelphia.

They argue that there really isn't much of a moral difference between what someone like Dr. Gosnell did to infants born at 23, 24, 25 weeks, and what can happen [legally] at a clinic down the road in Maryland where a doctor says he'll perform an elective abortions 28 weeks into pregnancy. So the question I have for you is what is the moral difference between what Dr. Gosnell did to a baby born at 23 weeks and aborting her moments before birth.

In her non-response, Rep. Pelosi calls what Gosnell did “reprehensible”. Then she uses the exact same word “reprehensible” to describe the Republicans on the Judiciary committee for approving the banning of abortion after 20 weeks. Thus, she puts committee Republicans on the same level as Gosnell.

So The Weekly Standard reporter, readily recognizing the lack of a response to his question, restated the question:

So what's the moral difference? I just asked a simple question. … What's the moral difference then between 26 weeks elective abortion and killing of that same infant born alive? This is the issue that they're trying to---

Once again, Nancy Pelosi dodges the question. She attempts to defend her support for prenatal homicide with an appeal to her own moral authority. Get this:

As a mother of five children– my oldest was six years old the day I brought my fifth child home from the hospital – as a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me when we talk about this and I don’t think this should have anything to do with politics

Mothering five children and being a Catholic give Rep. Pelosi all the authority she needs to kill babies.  What could be more sacred than ripping off the arms and legs and crushing the head of a baby?
